UPSL NATIONAL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: San Lee FC’s Olvin Ortiz

San Lee FC Midfielder Had Three Goals and One Assist in 5-2 Victory

October 17, 2018 – Los Angeles – San Lee FC midfielder Olvin Ortiz has been named UPSL National Player of the Week. A native of Puerto Rico, Ortiz scored three goals and an assist in a 5-2 victory over Sparta FC 20/20 in a UPSL 2018 Fall Season Southeast Conference Mid-Atlantic South Division game on Sunday, Oct. 10, 2018.

Ortiz came off the bench and played 70 minutes for San Lee FC (2-0-2 overall), which stays unbeaten at home with the win. Ortiz scored the first three goals in the win.

A member of the Puerto Rico National Team, Ortiz has three goals in 10 total international appearances. He previously played for Tobacco Road FC (PDL).

The UPSL National Player of the Week is selected each week of the regular season by members of the league and journalists covering the UPSL.
